The Evil of the Daleks play was staged in 2006 by Interalia Theatre in Portsmouth. Throughout the production, Dalek Links had exclusive back stage access – updating fans through a series of Dalek Diaries, from Nick Scovell.

Origins of the show

“What’s that Daddy?” So asked my eldest daughter, at the tender age of two-and-a-bit.

Adapting the script

I have made a bit of a speciality in adapting scripts. Having worked on and created productions from novels, like The Hound of the Baskervilles and Frankenstein, and from scripts such as Cyrano de Bergerac and Dad’s Army.

The Daleks

I love Daleks. I know that anyone reading this does as well. I also know that no one reading this article knows why!

Publicising the show

No show sells itself. Evil of the Daleks would be no exception.

Making the music

The Doctor Who theme is one of the most well known themes ever to come from British television. It has influenced so many people over the years and is instantly recognised from the very first note.

The hard work has begun

After two years of planning, rewrites, production meetings, photo shoots, poster printing, marketing and endless phone calls and emails, we are finally here.
