This is a charity fundraising site run by three Dalek builders, using three fan-built Dalek props.

They attend charity functions to help raise money for good causes, including (their main charity) Marie Curie Cancer Care and the BBC’s Children in Need. They also attend a large number of sci-fi conventions and exhibitions – which will allow them to continue fund-raising for Marie Curie (whilst also having fun).

The crew first helped to raise money to pay for nursing care for Marie Curie Cancer Care at their Ladies Driving Challenge at RAF Colerne, Wiltshire. While doing this they agreed it would be great to offer their services to help raise money and awareness of the charity on a more regular basis, and attend regular events.

The South West Dalek Crew cannot attend commercial or private functions such as birthday or Christmas partys, as fan-built Daleks are not endorsed by the BBC or Nation Estate.
