Probably the most comprehensive Dalek construction site for those wishing to build their own Dalek.

All the information one needs to produce an accurate full size working Dalek. This is a collaborative effort from fans who’ve managed to produce their own Daleks in the past, and the guild offers different techniques and advice in producing the five major sections required for final assembly. This site is packed with information (including how to spot whether the Dalek you’ve just been sold is a ‘real’ one) advice, photos and help.

2008 update: the site now includes plans for the new series Daleks.

The site contains a full history of how the Daleks came into being, how they were designed and built and how they have changed over the years.

There are detailed plans of every part of a Dalek, construction guides and even details on how to mechanise a Dalek (for example, adding a CO2 exterminator – as per the Dalek movies). There are construction diaries and a showcase of some of the Guild’s Daleks.

A totally essential site for Dalek builders and Dalek fans alike. Highly recommended.

Sadly, and the only minus point, the site does not work properly in browsers other than Internet Explorer.
