Very possibly the most comprehensive Dalek-building plans available and a useful on-line forum for Dalek builders.

However, you can only access a preview of the full Dalek plans without registration to the Project Dalek forum. The good news is that the forum is a great place to collaborate with other Dalek builders and is free to join. The plans themselves are simply stunning. You don’t have to pay to access the plans (as that would violate copyright) but a donation is encouraged to keep the forum going. There are plans for the Shawcraft Daleks Mk I, II and III, movie Daleks, Imperial Daleks, new series Daleks and even the Davros chair.

An excellent Dalek showcase shows photographs of Daleks built by fans – all of them very impressive. There’s an excellent reference library of photographs – from every episode featuring the Daleks (including the Dalek movies) – which is a real boon to Dalek builders.

There’s also an excellent section of 3D renders called virtual Daleks – 3D illustrations created by members of Project Dalek. A detailed Dalek autopsy shows how Daleks are contstructed, with reference photographs and lots of tips for the new Dalek builder.

All in all this is an extensive Dalek resource for Dalek builders – one of the best on the Web.
