Project Dalek is a joint venture between the Computer Science Department of the University of Wollongong and doctorwho.com.au.

The primary intention of the project is to create a robotic Dalek that can be controlled via the internet.

The second aspect of the project is to create a way of making the Dalek speak in its characteristic voice, saying what has been sent via an SMS from a mobile phone.

A video will be made at the end of the project from footage taken during the project’s lifecycle.
