This second edition of archive extracts follows the highly successful first volume. Once again all manner of programmes from the BBC radio and television archives yield Doctor Who-themed features, from drama and comedy to interviews and behind-the-scenes items.

The programe is presented by Elisabeth Sladen, who played one of the Doctor’s most popular companions, Sarah Jane Smith, in the original TV series. This second volume includes interviews with six of the actors who have played the Doctor, plus companions (Matthew Waterhouse, Louise Jameson, Elisabeth Sladen), writer Kit Pedler (creator of the Cybermen) and producer John Nathan-Turner. Comedy is provided by clips from I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue, Dead Ringers and others.
