An unfinished animation showing the eighth Doctor, Romana and K9 facing the Daleks on an unknown planet.

It’s such a shame that this fan film is unfinished, but what’s there is excellent.

Trying to navigate to Gallifrey, the Doctor, Romana II and K9 arrive on a desolate, unknown planet. As they explore, they come face-to-face with a squad of gold Daleks. The title sequence, which is half-way between that of the TV movie and the new series, is especially good. The images of the Doctor, Romana and K9 seem to be borrowed from BBC’s Shada animated story.
