Go to Doctor Who Radio Times covers
TV & Radio Bits is a Web site which gathers together all kinds of – well, you guessed it, TV & radio bits. What we’re especially interested in is the collection of over a thousand Radio Times covers from eight decades – and counting. Best of all, it includes all of the covers which have featured Doctor Who – including nine featuring the Daleks.
Doctor Who issues have always been the most collectable issues of Radio Times. It was only three months after the programme began that it gained its first cover, featuring William Hartnell starring in Marco Polo. In the next few years he was followed by the Daleks, Cybermen, Patrick Troughton and covers marking the beginning of each of Jon Pertwee’s five seasons playing the Doctor.

After eleven covers in the first ten years of the programme, Who-related covers disappeared completely for the following decade, and amazingly none at all appeared during the Tom Baker era.
