The official Doctor Who site leads the pack by a long way. From the classic series, there are comprehensive episode guides, photonovels, a beginners’ guide for those new to the show, galleries of pictures and wallpaper, quizzes, e-books and Webcasts.

There are detailed profiles of each of the Doctors – and all of his assistants, enemies and monsters from across the years. The photonovels are especially wonderful, giving us the only way to visually experience some of the lost episodes and stories from the classic series.

For the new series, the Web site is kept up to date each week with news, downloads and games themed around the current show. The Web site team also sets up themed Web sites related to characters and organisations from the series – such as UNIT.
