Not even Bournemouth can escape invading Daleks – one somehow managed to blast its way one evening into the Lounge Bar at The Ashleigh Hotel in Southcote Road.

This wicked warrior Dalek, who masquerades by the name of Derek, is actually the property of Ray and Julie, and when you visit the Dr Who Museum, sorry – The Ashleigh Hotel – you may, if you can summon the courage to risk instant vaporisation, even touch him for yourself.

Seems like another good reason to visit Bournemouth.
