One of the most exciting moments in Doctor Who history as the revamped and much tougher Daleks return to the new series of Doctor Who. A lot of effort was put into the lighting in these pictures in order to recreate the mood.

In this second picture of the brace, the Dalek casing model has been distressed in Cinema 4D prior to rendering. Additionally, many ‘worn’ textures were created from scratch. The result is a tortured, battered but still imposing Dalek.
