Daleks return in Doctor Who series 3

As anyone who watched The Runaway Bride will know, series 3 of Doctor Who will include the return of the Daleks.

The closing seconds of the Runaway Bride showed Dalek Sec, who escaped from the battle of Canary Wharf by time-shifting (“emergency temporal shift”). In series 3, the Daleks will appear in a two-part episode, which is expected to be aired mid-season.

The episode is set in 1930s New York.

“This time, their plan is the most audacious Dalek scheme yet! Even the Doctor finds himself out of his depth,“ said Doctor Who’s lead writer Russell T Davies.
