New Black Dalek toys start hitting the stores

As to be expected, Character Options is releasing both 5-inch and 12-inch remote controlled versions of the black ‘cult of Skaro’ Dalek

The sharp-eyed of you out there may already have noticed that the 5-inch remote controlled Dalek is already available. It’s a splendid toy with excellent build quality – using both gloss and matt black works really well in the same model. Also, the remote control sensor – at the front of the neck section – is almost invisible, compared to the gold Daleks. As with the gold Daleks, the arm and gun have limited movement, but all in all it’s well built.

A twelve-inch version is due in the shops soon. This is something to really look forward to – the new series twelve-inch Daleks are superb, with the exception of a few minor points, so the black one will make a fantastic addition to any collection.
