Airfix Daleks on their way?

Eagle-eyed viewers who watched this week’s Money Programme may have noticed Airfix designers measuring up a Dalek, in preparation for a new model kit.

The programme, on BBC, was focused on Airfix’s coming revival, now that it is part of Humnrol. Although we’re due to see classic Airfix kits back on the shelves, new Doctor Who kits are planned too.

Although the programme only specifically mentioned TARDIS, Doctor and Martha kits, the Airfix designers could be clearly seen measuring up a Dalek (photos below). Which leads us to just one conclusion – that 2008 will see the introduction of the first new series Dalek model kits.
