It’s a long time to wait until the stage production of the Dalek Masterplan in October, so Nick Scovell, the man behind Interalia Theatre and the new stage production of the Dalek Masterplan, has sent us a couple of production snippets to whet our appetite – without spoiling too many surprises.
Those who attended last year’s Evil of the Daleks will know that the production and music standards were excellent. Martin Johnson’s haunting score underpinned the whole production, but nothing could stop the unveiling of the Dalek Emperor taking away the breath of the audience at the climax of the play.
The team is now working hard on the Dalek Masterplan and we’ve been sent a 3D render of the Supreme Dalek. This has been created by 3D illustration genius Steve Redfearn – and is yet to be transformed into a real, gliding, full-size Dalek.
3D concept illustration of the Supreme Dalek from the upcoming stage production of the Dalek Masterplan. Tell me you don’t want one!
The music is also well underway, and we’ve been sent a short snippet of Martin Johnson’s new score – excellent, though still a work in progress. This is the music used when we meet the Supreme Dalek. Listen to the clip (MP3 format, 534KB).
