Airfix Dalek kits seen on the Internet

The Sci-Fi and Fantasy Modellers Web fit has posted images which are reportedly of the soon-to-be-released Airfix Dalek model kits.

The images show the packaging of a ‘Dalek Encounter’ kit which includes a Dalek Sec, Dalek creature, Dalek Caan and diorama scene.

The images themselves could be of the assembled kit, or of resin prototype (they look more like prototypes) – but they look pretty good, although naturally the detail of fiddly components such as the gun struts have been simplified (or, actually removed).

But overall, these kits look promising – and it will be great to have a new series Dalek model kit in the shops.

The overall scene is from ‘Daleks from Manhattan’ showing an open Dalek casing with Dalek Sec creature inside (but thankfully not the Babar-like Dalek Sec Human Hybrid) and Dalek Caan on a nice diorama.
