Altered Vistas creates living picture book of Doctor Who and the Invasion from Space

06 April 2008

Released simultaneously with Curse of the Daleks is a ‘living picture book’ of Doctor Who and the Invasion from Space.

Because people of late have been very generous in their reviews of Altered Vistas productions, Altered Vistas has decided to be equally generous. AV17 is an unusual release – a living picture book, bringing to life the classic World Distributor story ‘Doctor Who and the Invasion from Space’. Read by Jonathan Redwood (and his William Hartnell impersonation has to be heard to be believed) and illustrated with a wealth of computer generated images and short animations, this single disc release pumps new energy into this much-neglected piece of Doctor Who fiction, and comes complete with a gallery of images from the original book.

Full details of both productions can be found on the Altered Vistas Web site: http://www.alteredvistas.co.uk/ where you can also find the next exciting instalment of Iain McClumpha’s original Dalek comic strip Invasion of the Mechanoids, new wallpapers, many new reviews, lots of new details on their Who’s Who page, extended and revised versions of their History of the Daleks in the Comics and History of the Cybermen in the Comics features, the former now with over 170 images, the latter with almost 100 images, plus news on forthcoming productions and much more.

As always with Altered Vistas productions, this is free – you just need to send a blank CD, along with return postage and packing.
