There can’t be many Doctor Who fans who didn’t tune in to watch the trailer for the second half of Doctor Who series 4 – and who were rewarded with a glimpse of what could have only been one person.

Despite the best efforts of those with Photoshop, there still isn’t a conclusive image that this is definitely Davros – though it’s hard to know of anyone else who had the bottom half of a Dalek casing and a blue eye in the middle of their heads.

Davros in the Dark?Is it? Could it be? Who else...?

Series 4 is shaping up to an epic conclusion, with lots of speculation about multiple Doctors (if only briefly), Jenny’s return, Harriet Jones as a Dalek, the new red Supreme Dalek (or Dalek Supreme, at this point, you can take your choice), The War on Skaro toy gift set (with lots of people already posting spoof reviews on play.com) – you name it. But with the return of the Daleks (and more than just Caan) it looks certain that Davros has been called in to sort things out once and for all.
