Dalek suit sells for £3,201 on ebay

A forty-year old Dalek play suit has sold for over £3,000 on the on-line auction site ebay.

The suit was made in 1964, and, although looking a little worse for wear (aren’t we all after that time?) is pretty much intact and came complete with its TARDIS-shaped box.

According to the Times, which has covered the story, the seller thought that he might get around £10 for it. He’s a happy man, then.

The suit was one of the first licensed Dalek products, but only a small number of these were made before the factory that made them burnt down.
