This month’s Doctor Who Magazine contains a great article on a TV series that was worked on but never saw the light of day – the Daleks in their own TV series.
Terry Nation’s aim was to sell the show to American television, to make a greater commercial success of the Daleks than could be achieved on British TV alone. The whole thing came tantalisingly close to becoming reality but didn’t quite come off.
