Sunday, September 05, 2010

The penultimate episode of the Dalek Chronicles series, Emissaries of Jevo, is now available free from Altered Vistas.

It’s been a year since the release of the previous episode of the Dalek Chronicles, but now Emissaries of Jevo is now available.

Dalek Emperor

The Jevoans must reach the planet Arides to stop the deadly mutated plants there releasing a dust of death across the galaxy, but between Jevo and Arides lies Skaro, homeworld of the Daleks...

As usual, the disc comes packed to the metaphorical rafters with bonus features:

  • Trailer: A look forward to the final Dalek Chronicle in the series.
  • Earls Court 2008: A unique chance to look around the London exhibition of Doctor Who props and costumes from a couple of years ago.
  • The Art of Ron Turner: A gallery showcasing the striking artwork of Ron Turner from the 1950s onwards.
  • The Littlest Dalek: An animated short film with a surprising hero...
  • Who’s Doctor Who: A celebration of TV Comic’s Second Doctor set to the strains of Frazer Hines’ infamously groovy novelty record.

All this is available to anyone in the world for the cost of a blank CD and return postage and packaging thanks to our wonderful and dedicated team of dubbers. See the Altered Vistas website for more information on owning your own copy.

Also now available is a third volume of music that has featured in Altered Vistas’ productions. The CD is entitled Warmonger. Featuring well over an hour of music, this release showcases music from the Dalek Chronicles, covering Impasse right up to Emissaries of Jevo, music and themes from the now unavailable The Curse of the Daleks, music from many bonus features as well as a small selection of original compositions.

In addition, there have been a vast number of updates and new additions to the Altered Vistas website, including an exclusive interview with Roger Noel Cook, the most prolific writer of Doctor Who fiction in any medium ever, having written all of the comic strips for the first and second Doctors and some for the third!
