Spoiler alert. This week’s issue of the Radio Times has spilled the beans on a new Dalek design to be seen in the current series of Doctor Who.

We had predicted that this was coming, but were hoping not to see the new designs until they were aired on the show. However, they’re difficult to avoid when you’re wandering around Tesco.

There are three collectors’ edition covers and they features the bold new Dalek designs and covers. Our view? Could have been worse, but it’s not an improvement. Why redesign a classic that doesn’t need it? Maybe they’ll grow on us.
